Pull the tables out of a PDF into an Excel spreadsheet, free and without signing up. The conversion happens in your browser, so your file is never uploaded.
How it works
The tool reads where every piece of text sits on the page. Each line becomes a row, and text that starts at the same horizontal position on different lines becomes a column. Numbers, amounts and percentages are stored as real numbers, so you can add them up straight away. Each PDF page becomes its own sheet.
- Choose or drop a PDF.
- Click Convert to Excel.
- Download the .xlsx file and open it in Excel, Google Sheets or LibreOffice.
What to expect
- Best for tables such as statements, invoices, price lists and reports.
- Check merged or wrapped cells: a cell whose text runs over two lines in the PDF may come across as two rows.
- Text around the table (titles, notes) is kept too, in its own rows, so delete what you do not need.
Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The PDF is read and converted entirely in your browser, so it never leaves your device. That makes it safe for contracts, statements and other private documents.
Is it free?
Yes: no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on files or pages. The page is supported by ads.
Does it work with scanned PDFs?
Not yet. A scan is a picture of a page with no real text inside, so there is nothing to convert. The tool tells you when a PDF looks like a scan.
