Cluword is a free daily word puzzle game inspired by cryptic crosswords. Each day a new hidden word is revealed through up to 4 progressive cryptic clues. You have 6 guesses to find the word.

How do you play Cluword?

Read the cryptic clue shown on screen and type your guess using the on-screen keyboard or your physical keyboard. After each guess, letter tiles change colour: green means correct position, amber means the letter is in the word but wrong position, and grey means the letter is not in the word. You can unlock additional clues at the cost of an extra guess.

A brand new puzzle is available every day at midnight UTC. The difficulty changes throughout the week: Easy on Monday and Tuesday, Medium on Wednesday and Thursday, and Hard (Cryptic Climb) on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
