What drives us

Our core principles

Radical Honesty

We publish what we actually find — including failures, limitations, and the tools we stopped using. If something is bad, we say so clearly.

Full Independence

We are self-funded. No investor agendas, no vendor relationships that affect our scores. Affiliate links are disclosed clearly and never influence our ratings.

Real-World Testing

Every tool we review gets hands-on time in actual workflows — not a 10-minute demo. We test on real tasks, real codebases, and real deadlines.

Our story

Why we started

OneAppleFall started when we got tired of reading reviews written by people who had never actually used the tools. Every AI agent comparison was either a thin summary of the marketing page or an affiliate-first listicle with no real testing behind it.

We decided to build what we wanted to read: a publication that buys the tools, uses them on real projects for weeks, and publishes the full picture — including where they fall short.

Today, OneAppleFall covers AI agents, automation workflows, and the tooling that serious creators and small teams rely on to ship faster and smarter.

How we test every tool

01

We buy & install it

We purchase a real license or subscription at full price. No press access, no review units — the same experience you would have as a customer.

02

We test it on real work

Every tool gets a minimum of two weeks of real-world use — on actual projects, not synthetic benchmarks. We document every significant win and failure.

03

We score & publish

Scores are based on reliability, autonomy, value, and ease of use. We update reviews when products significantly change — and we note when they get worse.
